The SIBIOS-ISSB Library / Bibliothèque SIBIOS-ISSB

There is a specialized library of the ISSB on subterranean habitats, fauna and ecosystems. It is presently stored and maintained at Brunoy (France) under the behalf of the International Society for Subterranean Biology. The stock of the former Mémoires de Biospéologie published by Sibios-ISSB is stored in this library.

The MNHN Subterranean Biology Documentation Centre at Brunoy (France) / Fonds documentaire spécialisé de Biologie Souterraine du MNHN à Brunoy (France)

There is a Documentation Centre specialized on subterranean habitats, fauna and ecosystems s.l., enriched by studies of general interest in Biology, Systematics, Ecology and Zoology. It is part of the Direction des Bibliothèques of the Muséum National d’Histoire Naturelle (MNHN) and it is located at Brunoy (Essonne, France)

The documents come mostly from libraries of laboratories of the MNHN, personal documents from Prof. René Jeannel [RJ], Prof. Albert Vandel [AV], Prof. Claude Delamare-Deboutteville [CDD] and documents gathered and preserved by Jean-Jacques Geoffroy [JJG] in collaboration with the International Society for Subterranean Biology – Sibios. It is therefore designated as Fonds Sibios. The Documentation Center specialized on Subterranean Biology managed at Brunoy comprises journals, books and related publications.

 

The CNRS Subterranean Biology Documentation Centre at Moulis (France) / Bibliothèque CNRS de Biologie Souterraine de Moulis (France)

There is a very large Documentation Centre specialized on subterranean habitats, fauna and ecosystems s.l., enriched by studies of general interest in Biology, Systematics, Ecology and Zoology. It is part of the librairy maintained at the Station d’Ecologie Expérimentale du CNRS de Moulis and it is located at Moulis (Ariège, France). It is stored and maintained by the CNRS laboratory. There is at present no list or catalogue of the content.
